UNCOVER
Before we start, we check your system thoroughly. If there is existing damage, a fault, or anything that affects how we proceed, you will know about it upfront.
We also take photos and note the condition of everything we can see. That snapshot becomes your baseline. When the job is done, you have a clear before and after record of your system.
RESTORE
We carry out a comprehensive maintenance service on every system as booked, following a documented checklist built on industry best practice. Every step is completed in full. If we find a mechanical fault or warranty issue outside our scope, we document it with photos and advise you clearly. We do not attempt work we should not be doing.
REVIEW
Once the service is complete, you receive a written condition report with before and after photos of every system we serviced. You can see exactly where your systems started, what was done, and how they improved. Any issues uncovered are documented clearly so there are no blind spots..
PROTECT
For annual plan customers: We present you with a MiHT Care Plan, ongoing scheduled maintenance so your systems never return to where they were. We manage the scheduling, the reminders, and the next service. You do not have to think about it. Your systems are looked after.For one-off customers: We set you up with a reminder so you know when your systems are due for their next service. A year from now, you'll get a prompt to rebook, no obligation, but your systems will be ready for care
What you can expect from every visit.
After every visit, you get a full written report with before and after photos. You will see exactly what we found, what we did, and what to keep an eye on.
We do not install systems and we do not carry out repairs. Your service recommendation is based on one thing; what your systems actually need.

In most cases a professional service resolves the issue. Reduced performance, unusual sounds, musty smells, and poor airflow are usually caused by accumulated dirt and grime rather than mechanical failure. Every MiHT visit begins with a thorough assessment — we will tell you clearly whether the issue is something a service will resolve or whether a repair or replacement is needed. There is no financial incentive for us to recommend one over the other.
Yes. MiHT is brand agnostic. We service all makes and models of heat pumps, ventilation systems, and solar panels including Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic, Fujitsu, and others. Our recommendations are based on what your system needs, not on any manufacturer relationship.
For most Auckland homes, an annual professional service is the right interval for heat pumps and ventilation systems. Solar panels benefit from a clean once or twice a year depending on your location and local conditions. The Home Energy Health Assessment will give you a personalised recommendation based on your specific situation.
You pay securely online. We will send you a payment link once the service is complete. You can store your card details for fast checkout on future visits. No cash, no bank transfers, no chasing invoices.
You do not need to be present for the entire visit. We do ask that someone is available at the start so the technician can confirm access and discuss anything relevant before work begins. On the day of your service you will receive a live tracking link so you know exactly when to expect your technician. Most services are completed within a few hours.
Yes.
